Just watched the feitian video (i think on qingchun) and i realized ti did look abit screwed lah (if it's screwed from video then i can't imagine how screwed it really is), but those small parts of the video really made me miss those practice days so much!

Especially in dec hols last year, when it was just yuying/eunos cc everyday.

Haha, i realized i've been doing things subconsciously very often. Like, my mind isn't working and i'm just doing things without myself knowing.

anw we got our graphic calculators, they're cool! haha, haven't really figured out how it works, it's quite complicated but apparently i heard that gc is good.. haha and mrs phua says we're the second class in the world to use this kind of technology, sending data and stuff via wireless or sth, muahahaha. first class was clarissa(hotpig)'s class 4L haha :D and we may be using it for eoys too, that's how lucky we are. hopefully it wouldnt be too hard.

Seven minutes; Reminiscence

Last night I was listening to my mp4,and feitian song came on..

Reached to press next, but realized I can't really bring myself to do it because the moment the song starts I just get sucked into it, the endorphins,how i get all nervous when the me and yuhan part comes on, how my heart beats fast when the fast part plays, how i can tap to the beat involuntarily, how i can fully immerse in feitian for the seven complete minutes.

It's like even being able to hear the curtains opening, see the audience, see the judges, feel the majestic atmosphere, awarded by the applause, and a great pang of nostalgia.

I have no idea how that seven min song has crawled its way into me. Seven minutes by seven minutes, how many seven minutes we have gone through together over and over again.

It's just that feeling, that experience, we can never have again.

(ugh)

I realized things really changed alot.

wudao, morning school bus, mt sinai camous, ghim moh market, craziness, spoilt fitness corner, pon jap, playing cards under that tree, basketball after wudao, volleyball, late night stuff in sch, splits on table, games in circles, wenxue, cartwheels around hall, aircon classroom, rolling on floor, class chalet, slacking, no stress, no regrets.

Tests every week, tanjong rhu, mole concept, health and fitness room, triple sciences, PE, wudao, syf, tired 24/7, emptiness. Life?

I can't seem to recall the last time i really went crazy, laughed til I can't laugh more, those simple days with no complications and restrictions.

Hmm, things i wanna say dont seem to link up tgt so yeah shall do this again:

1) I realized i hate it when people are rude. Like, REALLY hate.

2) I knocked into a pillar while walking in the canteen hahaha laugh lah.

Apart from the cancellation of all overseas trips which started in Term 2, we have also recently cancelled CCAs, AYG celebration, Youth Day celebration, Learning Festival and Sports Carnival. Given that your health and interest is our utmost concern during this period, I hope you will understand why we had to cancel these activities.

In view of this series of disappointments, we have decided to dismiss all students earlier this Friday (10 Jul), at 10.45am, to give you something to cheer about. oh yeah i've been having interesting dreams.

Last night i dreamt my family decided to move to some house (i think it's at tanah merah). It's huge lah, and the outside really looks like some fairyland thing LOL i know it's damn childish but haha thats what i rly dreamt! it was really some fairyland with a garage shaped like an ice cream and candies all over.

right beside the house was a fairy land theme park or sth.

The interior of the house wasn't as fairytale-like though. It has this living room that has uber tall ceilings, like a conference room as huge as a shopping mall. It has this aquarium inside with blue and red neon lights and the fishes look like they've got an even greater life than I have.

Hahaha and the day before...

I dreamt I took out my zangzu costume at home and forgot to bring it to school for a performance.
I remember I went to hall, (it was the old campus hall) and it was open but empty.
So i went to the studio (somehow i just know i was heading towards a studio) and on the way i realized i forgot to bring my costume and the makeup stuff when I have performance that night.
So I took out my phone and called my dad and i remember describing to him the exact details of how the plastic thing for the makeup stuff looks like. (i said sth like pink and black and transparent) and he told me he would bring the stuff to me in an hour's time.
which amazingly, i remember very clearly he said 4.50pm.

then somehow i got my hair pins with me and i was so relieved. then i reached a hall, and it was Eunos cc hall (where we did feitian last time). Somehow we were learning a new dance and I had to do sth but somehow ended up doing jibengong and i remember doing splits. right, left, then right.

then i repeated the whole thing but this time it was the new campus hall, the new dance studio, but same jibengong, and same things that happened.

Yeah! I must have been too free in my sleep to dream of such weird stuff but well. hahaha :D

woohoo, back in the human world, finally.

Class chalet was... great hahah.
except for the part where alot ppl didnt come cos they said it was " TOO EX '
and the chalet itself was yuck.

Didn't do much on the first day. Cycling, captains ball at the car park but got caught by some security guard or sth, so went back for shoot shag marry, pizza and (talk)

aiyah, those stuff.

hahah at night, missed the last slot for midnight movie, played bridge and stuff.

wanted to go cheers and get everything want cos someone was too rich.
then realized cheers was closed ._.
like, 7-11 is closed!
then went macs and got ice cream and yulong bought 7 meals.
then walked back :D

Hee then comes the part when everyone goes to sleep (like pigs).

3 plus: went to slack around at the swimming pool with debby and jiamin.

4 plus: vball at car park, and the vball rolled into the trees. Lucky there was some fence there but still, it was deep inside and it was down a mini hill. spent around one hour trying to get it out, with lots of different creative ideas (aiyah wouldnt be cool describing it like this) anw in the end i got it out with my legs.

5 plus: back to chalet, nth to do, made an effort not to wake the others up, tried sleep on the stairs but hands went all numb. Went upstairs and managed to squeeze on the bed and got kicked by jeviene wenxin and chuanhui for that one hour sleep. ah.

6 plus: watched sunrise! :D cheat our feelings lah, came out at only around 7.

8 plus: went back to chalet!

were shooting with jiamin at the bball machine and debby was watching, and when she looked down after the very exciting shooting she realized her wallet was gone.
went to check at the foosball table (maybe she left it there)
but when she came back the wallet was back there but the money and funkey card was gone. (what can you do with a funkey card lah)

Isn't entirely our fault we suspected him man, he was there when the money got stolen and he followed us around after that, to the person in charge and all those stuff.
so jiamin chased him all the way down to subway (lol!) and we all went down (as in, everyone lol!) then yulong went to ask him if he saw anyone take the money and stuff.

suspect #2 -- the group of malay guys!

because they were right beside the bball area at the daytona area and jiamin said she saw them passing two dollars notes lol!

suspect #3 -- the group of chinese bengs!

because debby and jiamin said they keep looking at us (which i think is because we keep looking at them)

suspect #4 -- the two little boys who came over to pretend to take a look at our foosball game.

so we were so free and had the whole day so debby called police! :D

then wenxin came back from the chalet and she told us abt her incident haha.

LOL wenxin's rly damn imba, the two little malay boys (i think around p2 or p3) took her wallet and were trying to sneak away and she saw them and didnt suspect anything and she just took her wallet back like they're her friends and just taking a look at it. LOL the usual wenxin style lah. hahahah.

so police came, she told police abt it, then they went to look for the two little boys who were still there, apparently.

the police asked debby if she wanna press charges but she said no so yeah haha, caught the culprit of the five cases.
and the little boys followed the police back to police station like going on some excursion.

at the Foosball table, before the police came, hahah these were the two little boys.

then went for the yummy chicken rice! :D

played volleyball with the SUPERRR hard ball (my hands are still trembling now)

in the end decided on ghosts of girlfriend's past, haha, then went in and conveniently walked into the one showing i love you, man (nc16) then chuan hui asked me to get out.

then got jiamin and yulong to go back to that nc16 show again but i think this time they saw cos we changed seats LOL.

back to chalet, played cards, slept, but was horribly uncomfortable because i cant even straighten my legs because i would kick chuanhui (who slept like a king the night before) i couldnt turn right or i'll hit debby, couldnt turn left or i'll hit pearl, then i gave up and jumped down the bed.
at six plus asked debby to move in and slept at the corner. haha.
total of five hours sleep for two days, so when i came back i slept like there's no tmr!

Wednesday morning was super screwed because i alighted at some ulu bus stop with so many foreign workers and it was pouring and i was holding this pathetic small packet of (tomato flavor i think) potato chips (my breakfast because i was rly pathetic that day and thats the only think i can find and looks nice and IS nice) and i had to cross to the other side of the road to take bus back to aljunied mrt. and it was like, 6am in the morning so it was super dark, and i think i looked super retarded because i was holding this packet of chips in my hands hopping around in the rain trying to skip over the puddles of water and wearing a costume under the jacket.

then i got over to the other side and realized they dont have bus 80 and luckily they have 100 (i think its the only good thing that happened to me that morning)

then asean summit was okay haha it's DUN HUANG MENG HUAN AGAIN! :D
surprise surprise!! hahahaha.

then rushed for competition at chung cheng.
hahah, first day, so we skipped the briefing and stuff and went straight for competition! hahah. took some pictures, played around with make up on karen's face (LOL), did some pose and wrote a 诗歌 abt it. hahaha. shi ge part was rlly anyhow throw in everything like some rojak. hahaha. adding in words like, 啊 to create a nice shape for the poem hahahah xD
then was really tired (after sleeping for only three and half hours) then slept hahah then tada we get to go home :D
and admire the beautiful houses.

Swimming pool with slide lah! the slide is super cool, its like, made of wood except for the slide which is obviously plastic.
And the TV screen is almost as huge as a cinema's. (hahah oops trespassing) ahaha.
But....
My future house would be nicer than this! Want bet? ><

Garage

After walking for so long, so many turns and stuff, we realized that the gate we passed by 10 mins ago leads to the same house as the one we were looking at. SO MANY GATES FOR WHAT?! hahahaha. seriously lah, must walk so far and stuff just to get to ur house. its bigger than... err.... a community centre lah. (okay maybe not) hahahahah. but it can be one lah! hahaha :D f.y.i, this house has three gates, all with UBER LONG paths leading to the house. i think the time i would take to walk those paths would be equivalent to the time we need to... eat a happy meal.

hahah. then second day @ cchms again, talked abt the different works of the schools and when it came to ours damn funny cos the prof said sth like, 他们还请了一个杂技师帮他们拍照！LOL, woowww. hahaha.
and that the grandmother, child, father, mother, all attend the same school cos they're wearing the same uniform. hahaha.

then prize presentation, i really pinned no hopes lah but they said dunman high school group A and i was like, WOWWW hahahah.
seriously lah, its rlly shocking.
then we got this big trophy.
ahah although its only bronze but we won sth lah! hahah :O

the theme of the competition was, 容颜似画，岁月如歌. hahahah.

yay it's holiday time! :D

yeah holiday,
where i have homework that when i list out, i need two pieces of paper.

oh yeah nvm interclass first.
We got fourth! :D
It really helped bond the class alot alot, esp the teams and stuff, and all the supporters :D

and the celebration dinner sort of failed since in the end only left with me and jiamin and terence and wenkai and in the end cancelled. hahaha :D
still went for dinner though, and reached home at eleven plus and was really tired the next day but who cares since its one hour of talk by mr sng and one hour of spring cleaning plus resport books and one hour of chinese (equivilant to nap time) so half the day's gone woooo:D

then they bomb us with math TEST and DEADLINES. and then they push back everything to this week so now XIEREN and INTERCLASS and PTM all come together.

There’s always an end to a rainbow, but of course, the pot of gold remains. It has always been there, to let people like us discover it. Some may never see it, no matter how hard they try. But i believe that we will be the ones who will say hello to it in the end.

I’ve missed all the times we had together. 说长不长,说短不短. a year is not very long, but with all of you there to always liven up my life in that one year, i had much memories. some were unsaid, some were always shown in our little acts of care to each other.

i know i have always been crappy throughout, and i know you all had a HARD time putting up with all my nonsensical stuff bla bla. but i never really wanted to drown you all down in all these crap la haha.

in this new year, i realised how much i have not cherished of you all. i really miss all the chop-chops, hurry up, you-do-this, you-do-that, and the quality that we had in ALL of our project works. none of us were perfect, but pieced together, i think we were the best. the kind of project results that i see now are like AHEM. not even 1% of them can be compared to our work last time. none of us had a good grasp at all the subjects, but every one of us had at least something that we were good at. comparing marks that we thought were so good, but in the end when char says she got super lousy and yet she got more than us.

thats academic-wise. but in our daily lives, i think we were ownage too. i missed everything. always having to wait for you all to end sc, always waiting for char to finish all her questions with the teacher, finish photocopying/copying the tonnes of notes she had, always laughing at each other’s retarded acts. thinking of what to eat for recess, in the end getting pulled by char to eat some stupid vegetarian food. trying to find out what the hell the other person wants for their birthday present, chionging to the mrt just to reach home that 5 mins earlier to DO HOMEWORK? that one week during the exams when we had a new thing to laugh at EVERY SINGLE DAY. and always getting blown away by char’s lameness/auntieness/kiasuness. always shouting at you for stop being so flirt. always not being able to stand cheryl’s love for dance. trying to do a freaking split and getting my legs pulled by both you and cheryl. always giving sacarstic comments at whatever char ask me for comments at. always scolding you for having such a uber sharp voice. almost dying at the whole thing of being a substitute. always getting persuaded to not have such a great hatred for pigs. always thinking about who we should get for our 6 ppl project while trying to list the different pros and cons they have. this were not all. there are too many great times that we’ve had together.

i really wonder when we can ever go out together. as in go out together for the purpose of fun. not to do project, to get birthday presents for someone else. we have never done it before. and i guess thats whats quite special about us? i’m waiting for a day when you all talk to me, just to say some retarded thing, just to confide, but no longer to ask about how you are doing in the new class or how was the chem paper?

and sometimes when i talk to all of you now, i am really afraid we run out of topics to talk about. so i always crap something out. no matter what it is. i just try to avoid cold situations, when you dont talk and i dont talk. thats so.. odd. so dont mind me when i crap too much yea. i dont want everything that we talk about to be of academic, or only reminiscing the past. it seems like we never ever have anything to do with each other anymore.

and of course, everything will work out. or at least for us. there is an end to every rainbow. but i believe we will be the ones who will see the pot of gold, but not the end. and this will be one thing that i will never regret not seeing. anyway, jiayou to you, jiayou to all of us in cccd. :D

Screwed up speech day performance.
To start with, when the said '出' then i saw this huge table on the stage and the audience and how i have not gone through the dance AT ALL that day and not done my jibengong and i asked suiying 'is this rehearsal, or is this the performance?'

it was the performance! -inserts sarcasm-

1) did not do jibengong/ warm up before going on stage
2) havent gone through the dance for dont know how long/
3) went on stage and caught hou tui for the first time of the day.
4) stage rather slippery/couldn't balance didn't dare to really tai tui to very high.
5) backstage is full of DRUMS. HELLOO?!
6) backstage is full of backstage crew walking around.
7) curtains are super irritating
8) 30cm wide side stage.
9) timing for zhuan4 screwed.
10) the rusty wire on the pipa came out again during the four ppl part and cut me.

Simply wasn't prepared at all.

Couldn't have been more screwed.

I was thinking 'screwed screwed screwed' and see my finger with 2 cuts and bleeding and i was thinking 'utter crap'.

and halfway during the dance the stand at the side stage fell onto the stage ._.
the fact that they actually placed chairs and DRUMS (?!?!) at the already-limited-side-stage.

so i practically pushed everything/everyone out of my way when i had to rush to the other side of the stage for the zhuan.

i rmb there was this tall guy there and i just pushed him away. im sorry if you ever see this.

had to walk like crabs because theres no space.

nearly did not catch my houtui (caught at the toes omg) and didnt pull it straight.

even the audience thought it was rather screwed.

so how more screwed can we get.

but anw its over.
i just hope for the best for qingchun.

I hope it wont be like this for qingchun.

i realized feitian's gonna be the hardest dance because there are lots of backstage times and got chou and stuff.
the stage (although alrdy VERY SMALL) i shall not rant abt that but:

a backstage is almost NON-EXISTENT.

so feitian's gna be hard.
thing is, we didnt do feitian during rehearsal on thursday.
thought we should've done.
the other two dances are not that bad because we dont leave the stage at all.

Although from the audience's point of view, the stage looks rlly grand and big.
haha I'm seriously VERY worried that i'll fall down the stage during xue zhong mei.
this part that i have to turn on the floor i don't even dare to turn much.
but if i fall down the stage, i'll make sure i land in a qianfan or cartwheel or just in a simple split.

at least not that ugly :D

but people alrdy got their tickets so we must
respect the audience
and TRY our best for performance.

Oh yea, something interesting happened on bus 80 again. hhaha.
there was this SUPER loud auntie talking on her phone and she was sitting right at the back of the bus.
the moment she picked up her phone everyone turned to stare at her.
she looked around at everybody's stares and continued talking LOL.
talking abt going to woodlands to fetch people when shes alrdy at sengkang and abt bathing her child before going to her aunt's house bla bla.

she was practically shouting lah.

couldnt have a peaceful ride and some people really stared at her with uber pissed faces.

then i think everyone on the bus (including people at the bottom deck) heard her saying shes going to rivervale plaza and when the bus reached the rivervale plaza bus stop everyone turned to see the queen emerging from behind.

hahaha. then she look at everyone, pause awhile, then continue shouting into the phone.
then some guy was laughing at her when she alighted.
apparently she looks quite young.

came home and got a shock from my xiaobudian.
cos i went into the toilet and it was crawling there.

then i got a nightmare that i saw a ghost.
a very scary one! no one else could see it except for rachel and me lah.
then somehow i dreamt again that i injured myself and couldnt dance and perform for qingchun.
haha. then woke up with a sigh of relief.

SYF's over!

surprisingly yesterday i woke up and didnt really feel anything/nervous.
Just woke up and 'oh, syf's today leh'.
all the while in health and fitness room wasn't nervous at all.
all the way til we reached UCC.
STILL NOT NERVOUS.

which is good btw.
hahaha.
reached UCC and did jibengong and felt 'yes i feel so energized today i can do my bestest best today'
-its all in the mindset.

so the other schools were there hahaha and i saw liu lao shi wooh :D
okay anw they just asked us to move and put down our belongings then suddenly we were backstage and i was thinking 'oh its our turn alrdy ah?'
then backstage surprisingly it felt like just any normal practice (or in some way, i made myself think that way)

and oops, just before i went out i imagined the judges as teddy bears and bunnharebbits. hahaha.
and i imagined the stage to be health and fitness room.
so all the way i wasnt nervous at all.

the 7 minutes on stage was a blast man!
it felt really great.
truly enjoyed it and there's nothing better than that. wooh :D
it felt like 7 seconds because when it was ending i was thinking 'ohmy its ending' :(

sort of sad lah, this seven precious minutes of my life went pass just like this :(
if only we can dance over and over again.

was super happy after that went clarissa told me that me and yuhan turned at the same time.
REALLY VERY VERY HAPPPY!!
and that the audience clapped when we turned.
then when pipa came out they 'woooaah'

all these mean really very very much to us :D
when we finished the center judge clapped!

Went a long way

SYF's over and yeah, pretty much mixed feelings.
(i must try to type normally and be calm and not high okay i must)

SYF'S OVER!!
it's like, the whole one and half years (since last year qingchun) of practices finally we got to express! :D
so yeah like someone said 'dance your best and leave the stage with no regrets'

and i did :D

so it's like, one and half years just for that seven minutes on stage.
台上一分钟,台下十年功
that just explains it.

syf's really got the whole troupe closer together and we did it tgt.
okay so many things to say i dont know where to start.

Along the way we went through ups and downs, and im glad no one gave up.
so we all worked towards our common goal
and we all tried our best we all wanted best for wudao we all love wudao we all just wanna dance and dance and dance.

then there was this period of time everyone was at the near point of giving up aiming for gwh because it just seemed so far away.
but we still trained so hard and held on to the last glimpse of hope
and soon we all got that feeling back and we all got closer to our goals
yesterday we showed them all that we got, all our practices for the past one and half years, and i guess it was one of our best performances! :D

we did it, yes? :D

Results will be out tomorrow, No matter what we get, We still love wudao! :D

monday practice was quite rush.
the time we danced for mr sng, i think i didnt rlly turn out well 'cos it was so slippery and i forgot to put water at first/take out shoe or sth.
and it was our first time of the day.
and changed some steps but haven really tried them yet.

so yeah.

i think the senior high dance was very neat though :D

rehearsal on sunday, woke up at 4 plus. T.T then waited for the first 158 with rachel (lim) and zuoyue. I camped at the bus stop for 30 mins lah.
then when we got there the gate was locked so we went to front gate and i was first to step into school yay. :D
hahah. and i think the fact that we had to meet at 6.45am made us all very tired during rehearsal.at least for me. wasnt at my best.

hahah then after rehearsal on sunday there was this AP driver on bus 12.
he's rushing to reincarnation or sth
he tried closing the doors before we could board to ask us to move faster.
and closed the door before the aunties in front of me could alight. ._.

oh yes chinese compre test today. hahah.
three periods given,
i spent two of them listening to mdm loh teach bio next door and trying very hard to concentrate and understand the passage but apparently failed to.
it was super loud and clear. i think the first compre was quite screwed.
i was listening to her talk abt polymerase and mRNA and stuff and i rmb one very clearly (because it was exceptionally loud)
"ARE YOU LISTENING OR ARE YOU TALKING?"

and i was like, im listening. when im not supposed to be.
then i was so relieved to hear 3h greet thank you teacher. hahaha.

maybe i should go flip burgers in canada.
